Omni to showcase Riva Integration Server at Oracle OpenWorld 2011
Over 40,000 people are expected to attend Oracle OpenWorld 2011 from October 2nd to 6th. Omni is pleased to sponsor the conference and will showcase Riva’s advanced, server-side integration features for Oracle CRM On Demand and Microsoft Exchange in the CRM Pavilion.
San Francisco, September 27, 2011 – Omni Technology Solutions (www.omni-ts.com), the first company to deliver server-side integration for leading CRM systems, will demonstrate Riva Integration Server and Riva Live (SaaS) for Oracle CRM On Demand in the CRM Pavilion, Booth 3837, at Oracle OpenWorld. Riva bridges the integration gap between Oracle CRM On Demand, Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise by delivering seamless, server-side synchronization of contact, calendar, email, task, opportunity and support cases. Riva is compatible with Outlook, Outlook Web Access, Outlook on Citrix and Terminal Services, Office 365, Outlook for Mac, Entourage, GroupWise, iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and other mobile devices. To enable CRM integration, no Outlook plug-ins or mobile apps need to be installed or managed.
Oracle CRM On Demand is deployed frequently in larger corporations. In these environments, a client-side Outlook plug-in approach often results in increased management and support costs for the help desk. Installing plug-ins on each user’s desktop, laptop and mobile devices is time-consuming. Riva Integration Server, on the other hand, gets installed once on a server for multiple users and transparently syncs Oracle CRM On Demand and Exchange. With Riva Live, the first SaaS sync solution for Oracle CRM On Demand, Oracle customers have the option to run Riva in the cloud.
“Riva goes beyond Oracle’s PIM sync solution and provides the first Exchange sync solution for Oracle CRM On Demand,” said Trevor Poapst, director of global marketing and channel sales for Omni. “With Riva, there are no Outlook plug-ins that need to be installed or managed. Riva syncs Oracle CRM On Demand to all email applications and mobile devices that talk to Exchange. In addition, Riva SmartConvert Folders introduce powerful automation capabilities and enable sales reps to automatically convert emails into CRM opportunities and support cases.”
By eliminating the need to install and manage Outlook plug-ins on users’ laptops, PCs and mobile devices, Riva reduces administration costs and improves security. Administrators can configure server-side Riva sync policies that control which accounts get synced, how often the sync is to occur, and a host of other sync options.
