Riva syncs GoldMine to Microsoft Exchange 2010
Riva Integration Server delivers a full bi-directional sync of contacts, calendar activities and tasks between GoldMine and Microsoft Exchange 2010. View and manage your GoldMine contact and calendar information from Outlook 2010, Outlook Web Access, Outlook 2011 for Mac, Entourage, Apple Mail, iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry and Android mobile devices.
Edmonton and Greifenberg/Munich, 21 November 2011 – Omni Technology Solutions (www.omni-ts.com), the first company to deliver server-side integration for Microsoft Exchange and multiple CRM systems, today announced Riva integration support for GoldMine 9 and 8 and Microsoft Exchange. Similar to GISME (GoldMine® Integration Services for Microsoft® Exchange Server), Riva gets installed once on a Windows Server or Virtual Machine (VM). The Riva Administrator then creates one or more sync policies and assigns GoldMine users to it. The key benefit of Riva’s server-side integration is that all Exchange mail applications and mobile devices are automatically supported, without needing to install or configure Outlook plug-ins that only work on Windows PCs. Riva delivers full GoldMine integration support for Outlook 2010, Outlook Web Access, Outlook 2011 for Mac, Entourage, Apple Mail, iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry and Android mobile devices.
Riva delivers a reliable, server-side sync alternative to GISME for Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2007 and 2003. In addition, Riva can be configured to sync GoldMine to Novell GroupWise, another corporate mail platform. GoldMine Premium and Corporate 9 and 8 editions are supported. Riva syncs GoldMine and Exchange contacts, leads, appointments, meetings, tasks and phone calls. Based on partner and customer feedback, the Riva developer team is currently evaluating the possibility of also archiving Exchange emails against GoldMine accounts and contacts.
“We have received very positive feedback from the FrontRange GoldMine product management team and from top GoldMine partners such as Ticomix,” said Trevor Poapst, director of global marketing and channel sales for Riva. “Riva adds significant value to GoldMine by bridging integration gaps for Microsoft Exchange 2010, hosted Exchange, Office 365, GroupWise, Mac and leading mobile devices such as iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry and Android devices. Riva improves GoldMine user adoption and satisfaction and eliminates the need to install and manage multiple Outlook plug-ins that are limited to Windows PCs.”
From a mobile perspective, Riva syncs GoldMine contacts and calendar activities to the native address book and calendar on Apple iOS devices (iPad and iPhone), BlackBerry and popular Android phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S II, HTC Rezound and Motorola Droid Razr. Riva leverages the native screen size and rich user interface of leading mobile devices, making the solution ideal for field sales reps and executives who travel frequently and need quick and easy access to GoldMine. GoldMine contacts and calendar appointments are available in connected and disconnected modes.
