Mobile access to CRM contacts, calendar, tasks and opportunities is becoming increasingly important to sales reps with Android smartphones and tablets. Ideally, sales reps want the native address book, calendar and mail apps on their mobile device to sync to their CRM automatically – without needing to install or manage any additional applications.
SUNNYVALE, CA – June 4, 2012 – Riva CRM Integration (www.rivacrmintegration.com), the first company to deliver server-side integration for multiple CRM systems and Microsoft Exchange, enables sales reps to view and manage CRM data directly from the native address book, calendar and mail apps on their Android smartphones and tablets. Because Riva syncs CRM directly to Exchange on the back end, sales reps do not need to install or configure any additional mobile apps on their devices and CRM data is available in online and offline modes. Riva On-Premise and Cloud editions are available.
Google’s Android operating system for smartphones and tablets is still on the rise. According to The NPD Group‘s monthly Mobile Phone Track service, the top-selling smartphone operating systems in the U.S. in Q1 were Android (61%), iOS (29%), RIM (5%) and Windows Phone 7 (2%). Recently, Samsung presented the new Samsung Galaxy S III that will be available in June. During the presentation, Samsung announced that they plan to sell 200 million Samsung smartphones in 2012 and will increase their market share from 21% to 24% in 2012.
Today Samsung offers 15 different Android smartphones and several tablets. Among the most popular are the Samsung Galaxy S series and Nexus smartphones. Riva syncs CRM systems to all Exchange mail clients and mobile devices, including the full line of Android smartphones and tablets from Samsung and other manufacturers. Riva takes advantage of each device’s native display size, speed and user interface.
“Mobile CRM access is very important to our customers,” said Trevor Poapst, VP Marketing and Sales at Riva. “With Riva, they have the freedom to sync their CRM to all leading mobile devices – Android, iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows Phones. Administrators do not need to install or support any additional mobile apps or plugins on users’ smartphones and tablets. Mobile CRM access is included with our Riva On-Premise and Cloud offerings at no additional cost.”
Riva supports salesforce.com, Oracle CRM On Demand, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and NAV, NetSuite, SugarCRM, SalesLogix, SageCRM, FrontRange GoldMine, info@hand, intelecrm and other CRM systems. Riva On-Premise gets installed on a Windows Server (physical or virtual machine) and delivers full support for Exchange 2010, 2007 and 2003 (both hosted and on-premise editions, including Office 365). Riva Cloud is compatible with Exchange 2010 and 2007 only and customers do not need to install anything locally in their environment.
Riva syncs CRM contacts, leads, calendar events, tasks, email, opportunities, cases, quotes, custom fields and custom objects. In addition, Riva offers advanced email-to-opportunity, email-to-case and email logging features that increase sales productivity and increase CRM adoption.
