According to The NPD Group‘s monthly Mobile Phone Track service, the top-selling smartphone operating systems in the U.S. in Q1 were Android (61%), iOS (29%), RIM (5%) and Windows Phone 7 (2%). Recently, Samsung presented the new Samsung Galaxy S III that will be available in June. During the presentation, Samsung announced that they plan to sell 200 million Samsung smartphones in 2012 and will increase their market share from 21% to 24% in 2012.
