In Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, you need to activate mail, contact and calendar synchronization by moving the slider to “On” and selecting the mail days to sync and mail folders to push.

Riva CRM Integration – GroupWise and Salesforce address books
Riva Integration Server provides transparent, server-side CRM integration for Novell GroupWise systems. CRM accounts and conatcts you can view in the CRM are synchronised to your GroupWise address book. Contacts associated to accounts in the CRM become accounts associated to organizations in GroupWise. Changes made in GroupWise are synchronised to the CRM and vice versa.

CRM address book items (accounts, contacts, leads) can be identified by category type associated with them. In this case, they have been synchronised from MS CRM. When you compose an email, the To:, CC: and BCC: fields can be set to auto-fill even if the contact is from your CRM.

When you click on an item to view its full details, the Riva ConnectBar provides the option to review, edit or delete the item directly in the CRM.

To sync an existing Entourage contact up to your CRM, simply assign the CRM category to the item. Riva takes care of the synchronisation.

Click on the Riva ConnectBar “Review” or “Edit” buttons and the Riva ConnectBar automatically opens the record in the CRM for you to review or edit. You don’t need to manually open the CRM, click the Opportunities tab, search for the opportunity, click to open it, click to edit it, etc.

Users can automatically create CRM opportunities, cases, quotes and accounts by copying an email into the appropriate Riva SmartConvert Drop Folder. Riva enables Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) users to automatically create CRM opportunities by copying (Opt+drag) emails into the Create New Opportunity folder. This will automatically create the related CRM account, contact and opportunity and assign the email to the opportunity. Riva SmartConvert can also be used to automate the creation of CRM cases and quotes using the same process. (Requires hosted or on-premise Exchange account).

The Riva ConnectBar allows you to Review, Edit or Delete an opportunity, quote or case directly from within the GroupWise client. When you select Review, Edit or Delete, the ConnectBar brings up the opportunity, quote or case and allows you to manage it immediately. A future version will implement a “Local Edit” option that will allow you to edit opportunities, quotes and cases in disconnected mode.
