CRM synchronization for IBM Notes and Domino
Learn how to use Riva to connect Salesforce.com, SugarCRM, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle CRM On Demand, NetSuite, Saleslogix, and other CRMs directly to IBM Notes and Domino, IBM SmartCloud Notes Hybrid, and IBM Notes Traveler mobile devices.
Q: What is Riva CRM Integration?
A: Riva delivers server-side synchronization of CRM data from a dozen of the leading CRMs directly to IBM Notes.
Q: Why is Riva mission-critical for IBM customers?
A: Gartner predicts that CRM revenues are going to double to $36 billion in the next three years and IBM Notes customers are going to be part of that growth. And they are going to want to benefit from CRM integration directly with their IBM Notes client instead of having to migrate to another email platform in order to use the Outlook integration plug-ins.
Q: How do customers currently sync CRM to IBM Notes?
A: Well, many IBM Notes customers aren’t actually synchronizing data. And their end-users are having to double-enter data into their CRM. They have to take CRM contact information and put it into IBM Notes. And the same thing for calendars. And the same thing for taking email content that you want to record against a contact in the CRM. So, for many customers, there’s no integration at all. Some customers have deployed an IBM Notes client plug-in. IBM Notes plug-ins for CRM require changes to the mail template and individual user training and they are not very reliable.
Q: Which CRM systems does Riva integrate with IBM Notes?
A: Riva supports a dozen of the leading CRMs: Salesforce, Sugar, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Oracle CRM On Demand, Oracle Sales Cloud, Saleslogix, Sage CRM, NetSuite, and a number of others.
Q: Which email systems does Riva support?
Riva supports IBM Notes and Domino, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and Novell GroupWise, whether those systems are on-premise or hosted.
Q: Who uses Riva? Tell us about your customers.
A: Riva was launched in 2008. And since then we have gathered a wonderful customer list of everything from single-user and small business environments that are using our Riva Cloud solution to 10 of the world’s 50 largest banks and 20 of the U.S. Fortune 500 companies that use Riva to synchronize data and drive value to their email system and their CRM system.
Q: Does Riva sell directly or through partners?
A: There are customers who contact us directly. There are customers who work through their IBM partner who are interested in helping out. And, of course, we receive referrals directly from IBM sales reps who have customers who need Riva CRM Integration to synchronize data to their IBM Notes environment.
Q: Where are Riva’s HQ and regional offices located?
A: Our headquarters is located in Edmonton, Alberta. We have a sales and marketing team that works out of Sunnyvale, California. We have remote teams as well. One just outside Munich. (They are responsible for the EMEA region.) We have an office in Johannesburg, South Africa. And one in Santiago, Chile.
Q: Where can IBM customers and partners learn more about Riva?
A: We’ve done a wonderful job of making information available through our website. Everything from screenshots, to videos, to training, to PDFs. We have an extensive Knowledge Base that has the technical information required in order to implement Riva in an enterprise environment.
Q: What has impressed IBM customers most about Riva?
A: IBM customers were absolutely thrilled to know that there is a simple, reliable, and efficient solution that allows them to synchronize data from their CRM to IBM Notes – without having to change any email templates, without having to install any software on any of the IBM Notes Domino mail stores, without having to go through the complexity of having desktop and mobile device installations to see CRM data in IBM Notes. Because with Riva, the data gets synchronized from the CRM to IBM Notes and has full support for all IBM Notes clients including IBM Notes Traveler devices.
