Server-side info@hand integration – NO plug-ins required
Riva Integration Server from Omni is an advanced CRM data integration platform for Microsoft Exchange, Novell GroupWise and Apple Mail. Unlike standard Outlook CRM plug-ins for synchronizing data, Riva gets installed only once on a server.
Riva integrates with all Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise clients, including: Outlook, Outlook Web Access, Microsoft Entourage for Mac, the native Mac apps (Mail, iCal, Address Book), GroupWise and GroupWise WebAccess. Plus, Riva supports both on-premise and hosted info@hand, Exchange and GroupWise accounts.

What gets synchronized
Riva delivers transparent, bi-directional synchronization of info@hand address book data (accounts, contacts, leads) and calendar information (appointments, meetings, tasks, phone calls). You can decide whether you prefer to work in info@hand or your email application. Riva will keep both systems synched and up to date (see #1 in the diagram below).
Riva automates email archiving in info@hand (see #2 in the diagram). Simply copy and drag emails to the “Create New Email” folder in Outlook or GroupWise and Riva will automatically archive the email against the appropriate account and contact(s). If these items do not exist, Riva will automatically create the account, contact(s) and assign the email to them. Learn more about Riva AssignTo Drop Folders.
Riva goes beyond basic info@hand contact and calendar synchronization and synchs opportunities, cases and quotes (see #3 in the diagram). Imagine being able to review your info@hand opportunities and support cases on a plane or while visiting a customer (view Screenshots).
Riva SmartConvert – Reduce manual data entry in info@hand
Riva SmartConvert reduces manual CRM data entry by automating the creation of info@hand opportunities, cases, quotes, accounts and contacts. Simply copy-and-drag emails into the appropriate Riva SmartConvert Drop Folder in your email client (e.g., “Create New Opportunity”) – and let Riva works its magic! Customers report that Riva SmartConvert saves their sales and support staff up to 60 minutes per day.
What happens behind the scenes: Riva will check to see if the company and contact(s) already exist in the CRM based on the domain name and email addresses. If they don’t, Riva will automatically create them. Next, Riva will create a new opportunity using the email Subject line as the Opportunity Name. It will archive the email, synch the opportunity back down to email client.
Supported mobile devices
Riva syncs CRM accounts, contacts, leads, appointments, meetings, phone calls, tasks, opportunities, cases, quotes and other custom CRM objects to any Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) device that communicates with Exchange or GroupWise. These mobile devices and smartphones include BlackBerry, iPhone, iPad, Windows Phone, Android, Nokia, Palm, Sony Ericsson, LG and others.
