Learn about Riva on the Salesforce AppExchange. What gets synchronizedRiva delivers transparent, bi-directional synchronization of Salesforce address book data (accounts, contacts, leads) and calendar information (appointments, meetings, tasks, phone calls). You can decide whether you prefer to work in Salesforce or your email application. Riva will keep both systems synched and up to date (see #1 in the diagram below). Riva automates email archiving in Salesforce (see #2 in the diagram). Simply copy and drag emails to the “Create New Email” folder in Outlook or GroupWise and Riva will automatically archive the email against the appropriate account and contact(s). If these items do not exist, Riva will automatically create the account, contact(s) and assign the email to them. Imagine being able to review your Salesforce opportunities and support cases on a plane or while visiting a customer (view Screenshots). NOTE: Riva supports Salesforce Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, Force.com, and the Salesforce Partner Portal. Riva is not compatible with Salesforce Group Edition or Contact Manager. Riva SmartConvert – Reduce manual data entry in SalesforceRiva SmartConvert reduces manual CRM data entry by automating the creation of Salesforce opportunities, cases, quotes, accounts and contacts. Simply copy-and-drag emails into the appropriate Riva SmartConvert Drop Folder in your email client (e.g., “Create New Opportunity”) – and let Riva works its magic! Customers report that Riva SmartConvert saves their sales and support staff up to 60 minutes per day. What happens behind the scenes: Riva will check to see if the company and contact(s) already exist in the CRM based on the domain name and email addresses. If they don’t, Riva will automatically create them. Next, Riva will create a new opportunity using the email Subject line as the Opportunity Name. It will archive the email, synch the opportunity back down to email client. Riva Single Sign-on for SalesforceRiva Integration Server ships with a free Riva Single Sign-On for Salesforce service. Riva Single Sign-on for Salesforce means users don’t have to remember a separate Salesforce password. Their Salesforce password gets replaced by the ActiveDirectory/Exchange or eDirectory password – the whole reason for single sign-on in an enterprise implementation. Read more about Riva Single Sign-On for Salesforce and Options for Deploying Riva for salesforce.com and Exchange. Salesforce Version CompatibilityRiva is compatible with Salesforce Professional and Enterprise versions. Riva uses the Salesforce API for synchronisation. If you are using a Salesforce 30-day test account, you will need to request that the APIs be enabled for your account. Supported mobile devices
Riva syncs CRM accounts, contacts, leads, appointments, meetings, phone calls, tasks, opportunities, cases, quotes and other custom CRM objects to any Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) device that communicates with Exchange or GroupWise. These mobile devices and smartphones include BlackBerry, iPhone, iPad, Windows Phone, Android, Nokia, Palm, Sony Ericsson, LG and others.
